Last month UWA held its biennial event for Career Advisers. The aim of this day is to give Career Advisers throughout the State an opportunity to find out more information about UWA courses, our on-site residential accommodation, student services and the career prospects of our graduates.

This year almost 80 Career Advisers received valuable information from many of the faculties at UWA as well as general information about student support and factors influencing graduate employment.

The very hot topic of UWA's change in course structure, known as New Courses 2012 , was covered at length on the day. A copy of the New Courses 2012 presentation is available should you wish to find or clarify information about the changes.

Delegates attending the event commented very positively on the organisation of the day and the information that they received. This, coupled with the changes in course structure at UWA, means that we will be running another Career Adviser's Day next year. More information about next year's event will be sent to you early in 2011.
