The Graduate School of Education offers a number of professional development courses which can be taken independently from an accredited degree for teachers wanting to further their knowledge.

For example, Linking Learning is a compressed course designed to assist students in years 6-9. This course covers practical ways of assessing and addressing students' learning in grammar, spelling, writing, number sense and pre-algebra.

Secondary teachers can also take a compressed course called Primary Curriculum Unit to apply their existing knowledge and experience to teaching in the primary school context.

Further details about other professional development courses can be found on the Faculty of Education website.
