The UWA Oceans Institute hosted a group of Indonesian Delegatesand for Morning Tea on Tuesday 18th May in the Oceans Institute Boardroom to meet some of the staff and students and to learn about the purpose and vision of The UWA Oceans Institute.

Dr Vivian Louis Forbes Adjunct Associate Professor, School of Earth and Environment Map Curator, Science Library, UWA

Mr. Yusra Khan, Secretary of BPPK-the Analysing and Developing of Foreign Affairs Policy, Ministry of Indonesian Foreign Affairs in Jakarta

Mr. Siswo Pramono, Functional Officer of BPPK

Mr. Ferdi Syamsir, The Head of Indian Ocean Study Centre, Andalas University

Mr. Arif, Sub division of  Second Directorate of Inter-Cooperation of Asia Pacific and Africa Regions, Directorate General of Asia Pacific and Africa, Ministry of Indonesian Foreign Affairs

Ms. Fifi A. Firdaus, Staff of Administration of  Secretariat of BPPK

A very informative discussion was held over morning tea, from students, staff, the Director and guests resulting in possible greater collabaration between the groups present.
