The Monadelphous Integrated Learning Centre (MILC) will be a home room, design studio and workshop for students in all disciplines.

The Centre will be located in the former MPSL building. Renovation work to create this exciting new teaching space has been taking place for about one year.

The Centre was scheduled to open in July 2010, however will now be delayed until October because of storm repair work elsewhere on campus.

The MILC aims to get students involved in projects which:

  • are real and live;
  • have strong links to our industry partners;
  • are at an appropriate level of difficulty for the students involved;
  • require application of design reasoning as well as engineering science; and
  • lead to practical, physical outcomes where possible.

The projects are deliberately high-level and challenging. Places on the project teams will be allocated based on proven ability e.g. high coursework marks or excellence in previous design projects.

To find out more about the projects please see the website .

If you would like to get involved, send email to Nathan Scott: [email protected] .
