All academic staff are invited to a lunchtime seminar ‘Indigenous knowledge and engineering education ' presented by The Faculty Academy for the Scholarship of Education.

As the oldest continuous culture on earth, Aboriginal people of Australia are the custodians of the world's oldest living knowledge system.

In common with many indigenous people globally, Aboriginal people have a unique worldview based on an intimate and enduring relationship with this country.

Respecting and valuing indigenous knowledge and the ways in which Aboriginal people know, understand and use country, place and space will provide an intrinsic and instrumental value for Engineers working within Australia and globally.
