The Australian National Academy of Music has offered 11 scholarships to current and former UWA students for 2010.
Anna Pokorny, Liam Kinson, Ben Caddy and Alex Isted will be joining returning students Anna O’Hagan, Jarrad Mathie, Kathryn McKay, Taryn Richards, Susannah Williams, Christina Katsimbardis and Ashley Smith.
To secure 11 of the 55 places is a major achievement in this highly competitive field.
In other scholarship news, Lorenzo Di Paolo, who is studying in Germany, has been awarded the 2009 Friends of Music Travelling Scholarship.
Lorenzo is undertaking a Master of Music at the Freiburg Hochschule fur Musik. The award recognises Lorenzo's potential and expertise in the harpsichord.
