The Future Framework course development process involves two distinct phases. Phase 1 was a draft (concept building) process, involving Expressions of Interest for offering majors. The closing date for those submissions was 30 November 2009.

Phase 2 of the course development process, beginning in early December 2009, relates to the preparation of detailed proposals for the following:
• Majors (including units forming the major sequence);
• End-on Honours courses (including Honours units); and
• Other units (broadening, complementary and elective units)

The preparation of final proposals for majors will commence in early February 2010 following the Interim Boards of Studies’ consideration of the Phase 1 submissions and provision of advice in late January. In Phase 2, proposers will also be required to show how communication and research skills will be embedded in each major.

Guidelines and application forms to assist you to prepare Phase 2 proposals, including end-on Honours courses and other units, are available on the web .
