As part of the Australian Government’s Study in Australia 2010 (SIA 2010) initiative to raise Australia’s international education reputation in an increasingly competitive marketplace which was announced by Deputy Prime Minister, the Honourable Julia Gillard MP earlier this year, staff from the Faculty of Engineering, Computing and Mathematics at UWA have participated in a series of film interviews.

Mr Li Guo HUAN , student in Civil Engineering, Dr Xiaolin WANG , School of Mechanical Engineering, Professor David White , Miss Yue Yan, PhD student in Civil Engineering all participated in the interviews which were held at UWA on the 15th October 2009.

The participants all spoke proudly of the University and their disciplinary areas, and of Perth and the interviews will be developed into a short series of programs on Australian education as well as a number of 30 minute and 10 minute DVD presentations specifically for in recruitment fairs in China and the Shanghai Expo 2010.
