In 2011, the prerequisites for admission to the Bachelor of Engineering (including combined degrees) will change. These changes will be relevant to this year's Year 11 students. The prerequisite and recommended subjects for 2011 entry are as follows:

Prerequisites:
A scaled score of 50 or more in all courses in one of the following sets:

a.  Mathematics: Specialist (MAS) 3C/3D and Physics 3A/3B
b.  Mathematics: Specialist (MAS) 3C/3D and Chemistry 3A/3B
c.  Mathematics: Specialist (MAS) 3A/3B and Chemistry 3A/3B and Physics 3A/3B
d.  Mathematics (MAT) 3C/3D and Chemistry 3A/3B and Physics 3A/3B

Recommended:
Mathematics: Specialist (MAS) 3C/3D, Physics 3A/3B, Chemistry 3A/3B.
