All 4th year students are invited to submit a paper on the following topic:  "What would a sustainable transport future look like?"

All papers entered for the prize may be eligible for publication in Engineers Australia's Transport Engineering in Australia magazine.

All papers will be reviewed by the Student Prize Review Panel.
Judging criteria:

• Technical style and content;
• Relevance to topic;
• Originality in recommendations and conclusions.

The closing date for nominations is 31 August 2009.

The winning students will be advised in October 2009 and awarded the Student Paper Prize ($ 1,000) at the event hosted by the relevant state Transport Panel.

The prize is run by the National Committee on Transport (NCTR) of Engineers Australia and sponsored by Parsons Brinckerhoff.
