Associate Professor Peter Moore has been invited to play Principal Classical Bassoon with the Brandenburg Orchestra in its forthcoming Sydney season. Concerts in this series, entitled 'Bach and Barber', will feature the music of Bach and Rossini.

Assistant Professor Graeme Gilling accepted an invitation to join the panel for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation Young Performers Awards (National Keyboard Final). This event took place on 10 June at the Perth Concert Hall; Christ Church Grammar School student Bo An Lu won the competition. In July, Assistant Professor Gilling also performed with the Darlington Piano Trio at the Australian Strings Association National Conference which was held in Fremantle.
