Wednesday 11 November is the revised date for this year's UWA Engineering Foundation Research and Innovation Showcase .

The details of the event are as follows:
Date: 11 November, 2009 (please note, that the original date - 8 September - has been changed)
Time: 17.30-19.30
Venue: UWA Club Banqueting Hall

It will be a great opportunity for Faculty members to interact with potential industry partners and fellow researchers. Further information will be provided over the coming months and we will be encouraging you to plan for presentations of your work through posters, displays, flyers and verbal description.

Invitations will be sent to industry members in September (private and government). Guests will be invited to view and hear about relevant research projects, facilities and equipment associated with the Faculty through informal networking before and after short formal presentations. The latter will include a welcome, brief case study presentations illustrating projects between UWA and industry partners and an overview on the mechanisms for establishing and building upon collaboration, from student-industry research projects to Government leveraged Australian Research Council Linkage projects.
