The UWA Business School is offering all Western Australian high school students the chance to be involved in a challenging competition with exciting prizes, including a laptop or an iPod. If your students have an inquiring mind and a knack for constructing compelling arguments, then UWA's UNIfy Essay Competition is for them.

The Business School invites high school students to tackle the Global Financial Crisis - with a pen and paper that is. To take on the challenge, students will need to write a short essay (1000-1500 words) about the crisis. They could choose to discuss anything related to this topic, such as what caused the crisis, could it happen again or was the crisis contagious?

Entries will be assessed for their accuracy, insightfulness and originality, as well as the overall style, presentation, and clarity of the essay.

All entries must be emailed to [email protected] by 5pm on June 31st. Students are also encouraged to register their interest by email prior to submitting their essay.  Further information and announcements are available on the website .
