Australian-American Fulbright Commission is inviting Australian Postgraduate Students and Postdoctoral Researchers to apply for Fulbright Scholarship 2010.

Available are the following scholarships:

1) Fulbright Postgraduate Scholarships

For promising postgraduate students to undertake study in any field, to complete their Australian PhD; or to support enrolment in a U.S. postgraduate program. This scholarship supports an 8-12 month program.

2) Fulbright Postdoctoral Scholarships

For successful researchers who have completed their PhD in the past three years (or up to 5 years with a strong case) to undertake postdoctoral research in the U.S. This scholarship supports a 3-12 month program.

3) Fulbright Senior Scholarships

For academics (generally at Associate Professor or Professor level) to undertake research or teaching at a U.S. institution. This scholarship supports a 4-6 month program.

4) Fulbright Professional Scholarships

For aspiring mid-career professionals in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors to undertake training or research programs in the U.S. The scholarship is also open to people based in academic institutions whose primary research focus is professional or industry based, i.e. CRC or research institutes. This scholarship supports a 3-4 month program.

Applications open: June 1st
Applications close: August 31st
WA interviews: 24th September.
