Year 10 Girls: Have you ever wanted to experience life as a university student? Are you interested in engineering, computing or maths? Then come and take part in one of the UWA Women in Science and Engineering (WISE) days during the April school holidays!

Held on Wednesday the 15th and Thursday the 16th of April (with girls attending one of these days), the WISE Days will give 50 lucky year 10 girls the opportunity to participate in exciting hands-on activities from a range of areas including maths, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and computer science. Girls will also get to meet the UWA Motorsport Team and see their world champion racing car, learn about the courses on offer at UWA and have lunch at St Catherine's, UWA's residential college for women.

The Women in Science and Engineering initiative is aimed at increasing inclusivity and participation of females in Engineering, Computing and Mathematics through awareness, information and support.

For more information on these days please ask your school careers counsellor or contact Kate Brandis on 6488 3229 or at [email protected]
