Innovaative Regions Centre (IRC); Remote Enterprise Centre (REC) - Small Grant Rounds - Call for Proposals
The Department of Innovation, Industry, Science and Research invites elible organisations from across Australia to submit proposals to two competitive small grants rounds.
The IRC and REC are part of Enterprise Connect, a major industry innovation initiative of the Australian Government. Proposals are being sought from community based groups representing the private (including industry groups, clusters and co-operatives) or the public sector (including local government, higher education and reserach institutions).
Proposals should demonstrate regional and/or remote area benefit through innovationsl involve and benefit a range of firms in the region and encourage links and partnerships between businesses, universities, training provideers, research agencies.
Proposals should be able to be implemented in the immediate to short term. Projects with duration of less than 12 months seeking funding between $50,000 and $75,000 are encouraged.
Proposals should clarly address the relevant grant criteria as detailed in the respective application forms.
