Over the past 15 years the Country Medical Foundation (CMF) has generously provided scholarships supporting nearly 220 doctors and nurses across Western Australia. The Foundation has transferred its funding role to UWA for the eight medical student scholarships it currently supports for the duration of their courses, and aims to further address the shortage of doctors and nurses by supporting the State’s future rural medical workforce through the establishment of two scholarships in perpetuity at UWA
